The VuStik
3S System® is a vein identification technology that improves
the ability to find venous access for all phlebotomy and intravenous
infusions.
VuStik 3S is a non-invasive near infrared imaging system that
uses an absorption differentiating technique for the purpose
of identifying and accessing the superficial human vasculature.
Difficult to access patients such as children,
dark-skinned individuals, geriatrics, oncology patients, the
obese, and those critically or chronically ill will benefit most
from VuStik 3S. The
system is especially useful on patients that demonstrate poorly
visible, non-visible or non-palpable vasculature. Not only
will VuStik 3S aid in finding an access
point in these individuals, it will find the optimal usage site.
Superficial venous patterns are like fingerprints - all are
unique to the individual. VuStik 3S is a medical visualization
tool that gives the practitioner the advantage of sight and selection
in accessing each unique patient.

SEARCH, SELECT, and START.
- SEARCH
for veins on all superficial peripheral IV sites, show the
location of the veins and detect valves in
real time.
- The optimum vein is SELECTED by the practitioner
as a result of the VuStik's ability to show hidden veins and
the veins with the best blood flow.
- The practitioner will then be able to successfully
START the procedure with confidence, knowing the best venous
access position is being used.
